replaceable: angry people who think they’re your friend but undermine everything you do
not replaceable: discovering you know the difference

support, authenticity, vulnerability, truth, sunrise over a mountain, fly-fishing at dusk with your elderly dad, wet kisses, the wonder of a newborn child, a spotless gas station bathroom, a person who looks into your eyes and know that you SEE them, an early morning call of love and support, a look across a crowded room that says “I’m so glad you’re mine”, finding a card with your name on it tucked in the drawer of a loved one now gone, Please, thank you, you go first, your welcome, I’m happy to, what can I do for you, you made my day, the sound of quiet and silence, the knowing in your heart you have met your people. peace of mind, surrender to what it,memories that last a life time

I was just reading this again my brilliant sister. Joy. You bring great joy into this world. Kindness..we need continual kindness streaming out of the universe into everyone’s lives – especially into the lives of unhappy people who think they were overlooked.
I just love you and am so happy you’re in the world.

passion, commitment, devotion, humor, desire, delectability–in other words, you.

Amy. You are awesome. A few more that can’t be replaced:
-sunsets, laughs that end only when one or the other might get sick or might pee themselves, food made from homegrown garden veggies (even if it doesn’t taste so great…), feeling safe in someone’s arms, cozy comfy-ness whatever that is for you, looks that say, ‘you are so beautiful’, the smell of my mom’s clothes, long walks with dogs, the sound of waves hitting shore, baths… with wine.
